Back at the Freshwater Buy Back Shop, we learned quickly that most “broken” mowers weren’t broken at all — just suffering from bad fuel and poor fuel management. That hands-on start shaped the straightforward, no-nonsense way we operate now.

As long-time locals, our family-run workshop is led by Steven, a fully qualified mechanic with a background in youth work and disability support, and Sharni, a qualified earth scientist with extensive experience in community and resilience work. Together, we bring practical skill, problem-solving and genuine community values to everything we do.
